BMIT Technologies plc has just been informed by one of its local carriers (GO plc) of scheduled maintenance on their local network infrastructure as per the schedule below. Schedule: Start: 17/07/2025 - 00:00 CEST End: 17/07/2025 - 06:00 CEST BMIT Technologies plc is not expecting these works to be service-affecting. However, during this period, customers might experience increased latency for traffic within Malta when this is re-routed to their redundant routes. BMIT Technologies plc performs maintenance to continue to deliver optimal performance, reliability, and security. We strive to perform them without impact on our customers' however, the possibility always exists that a maintenance event can have unintended consequences up to and including unplanned or extended service interruption. BMIT Technologies plc will perform essential works on one of its MTH core routers as part of its commitment to enhancing performance and reliability. Schedule: Start: 22/07/2025, 02:00 CEST End: 22/07/2025, 07:00 CEST BMIT Technologies is expecting that during this period, core infrastructure will be running with reduced resilience. Impact: - Clients with MTH circuits starting with identifier [IPB01] will temporarily lose router redundancy, with a few seconds of packet loss as traffic is rerouted. - L2VPN / BGP and associated interfaces on this router will experience multiple extended outages. Affected customers will be contacted directly with further details. Our Support is available to provide up-to-date status information or additional details, should you have any questions during the maintenance.
